Sewer & Plumbing Sales Representative

About the Role

AK is building a plumbing and sewer sales department, and we want this hire to help build it. We provide the leads. You meet the homeowner, review the camera inspection with them, explain what is wrong in plain terms, and lay out more than one way to fix it. The work runs from plumbing repairs worth several thousand dollars to major sewer line, water service line and excavation projects. Sold jobs go to our own plumbers and excavation crew, so you sell work the same company finishes. You also walk in with a company that holds a 4.9-star rating across more than 1,000 reviews. We do not use high-pressure tactics, and we want someone who builds value instead of cutting the price. Strong performers target $100,000 to $175,000 or more a year, and commission is not capped.

• Run the company-provided sewer and plumbing appointments in customers' homes
• Review sewer camera inspections and plumbing problems, then explain them in plain terms
• Build and present several repair and replacement options, with financing and payment plans when they fit
• Follow up on every unsold estimate and open opportunity
• Coordinate sold projects with our operations team, plumbers and excavation crew
• Keep notes, estimates and follow-ups current in our CRM
• Hit monthly revenue and closing-rate goals

• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable presenting projects from several thousand dollars up to major sewer and excavation replacements
• Organized, with follow-up habits that do not let an estimate go cold
• Available for some evening and Saturday appointments
• Able to pass our pre-employment requirements

• Sales experience, ideally in-home sales in plumbing, sewer and drain, or another high-ticket home service
• Plumbing or sewer knowledge (a strong in-home seller who can learn the technical side is still a fit)
• Experience selling with customer financing
