About the Role
AK Water Works is hiring service plumbers to join our growing residential and light commercial team. You will run service calls out of a stocked company truck, diagnose problems, present options to homeowners, and complete quality repairs. What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems
- Install water heaters, fixtures, gas lines, and water treatment equipment
- Run service calls from a stocked, branded company truck
- Present clear options and upfront pricing to homeowners
- Document work in our dispatch software and collect payment on-site
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance at every home
What you bring
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record
- At least 2 years of residential plumbing experience (or completed apprenticeship)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces (crawl spaces, basements)
- Strong customer-service mindset — you treat every home like your own
- Pass a background check and drug screen
Nice to have
- Ohio Master Plumber or Journeyman license
- Backflow certification
- Experience with HouseCall Pro or similar dispatch software
