About the Role
AK Water Works is hiring a Customer Service Rep / Dispatcher for our Warren, OH headquarters. You’re the first voice every customer hears — you book calls, dispatch technicians, follow up on quotes, and keep the day running. Strong fit for someone with call-center or service-trade dispatch experience.
What you’ll do
- Answer inbound calls and convert them into booked service appointments
- Dispatch technicians efficiently using HouseCall Pro
- Follow up on outstanding estimates and unsold quotes
- Handle customer scheduling, rescheduling, and confirmations
- Process payments, manage memberships, and update customer records
- Coordinate between field techs, ownership, and the office team
What you bring
- At least 1 year of phone-based customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication — friendly, calm, clear
- Comfortable on a computer (CRM/dispatch software, email, spreadsheets)
- Reliable attendance — our customers depend on us picking up
- Pass a background check
Nice to have
- Experience dispatching field technicians (HVAC, plumbing, restoration)
- HouseCall Pro, ServiceTitan, or similar dispatch software experience
- Light bookkeeping or QuickBooks familiarity
